- Put a microscope on your working place.
- Arrange the objective of a low magnification (x 10) opposite to the object-table opening at the distance 1,5 cm away.
- Light up the visual field using a mirror.
- Put a specimen on the object-table with coverslips up. Place the section opposite to microscope frontal lens.
- Look from the side, lower the microscope tubus down, leave a minimal lumen between the objective and the specimen (up to 1 cm).
- Look through the objective and slowly rise the tubus up by means of macro-screw until the appearance of the object under observation.
- Observe the whole specimen while observing it under a low magnification.
- Choose the most particular portion specimen for studying under a high magnification.
- Look through the objective of a high magnification (x 40) and raise slowly the tubus by means of microscrew until the appearance of image.
- If it's necessary to observe the specimen under the high magnification with objective for immersion oil (x 90) at first you should observe the whole specimen under a low magnification and choose the most particular portion.
- Turn a head of gun with objectives and put a drop of immersion oil on the specimen.
- Arrange the objective of a high magnification (x 90) (the objective will touch a drop of immersion oil).
- Look through the objective of a high magnification (x 90) and raise slowly the tubus by means of microscrew until the appearance of image.
